Module Summary & Thanksgiving
Intro:
My plan for this week’s newsletter is to keep it short and sweet. I’ll aim to summarize what I was worked on each day in three sentences or less.
Monday:
Monday, I taught fiddle lessons, bible study, and hung out with friends. A great day!
Tuesday:
Tuesday, I had a call in the morning completing Rich Dad Poor Dad and then worked on That Guy Wood Co. website. I made a post to his Facebook, then added pictures to the site’s galleries and made sure links worked. We had a meeting to look over the site and with a few tweaks, it passed inspection! 🥳
Wednesday:
Wednesday, started to feel pressure: cleaning and cooking for Thanksgiving, creating new posts for That Guy’s socials, scheduling posts with buffer, attending a church service, finishing Dad’s site, working on praxis deliverables, and developing an invoice. To be honest, I have yet to finish half of those tasks. This was also the day I realized that I somehow got my weeks mixed up and was a week behind on the business building module.
Thursday
:
Thursday, I enjoyed an incredible Thanksgiving with extended relatives from both sides of my family! This was one of the first days in a long time that I took completely off website and praxis work. I have so much to be thankful for, it was a breath of fresh air.
Friday:

Friday, I did dog sitting, and Christmas shopping with my sister. We hit nearly every store in our small town, saw some interesting things, and walked away with gifts for everyone. After that, we went to my great grandpa’s old house to cut evergreen boughs for decorating…. Christmas has officially begun!
Saturday:
Saturday, I hoped would be a productive day of writing for my newsletter and business launch landing page (summary of work this month). However, my mom and a small collection of local boutique stores had other plans. After we wrapped up our Christmas shopping (pun intended😉), I worked on the landing page followed by 6.5 hours at Caribou.
Sunday:
Sunday I am looking forward to worshiping with my church family and Christmas decorating with my boyfriend’s family. They enjoy killing trees, so we’re going to pick out a fine pine specimen to set up in their living room. Later there’s an open house celebrating God’s grace to our friends who survived a brutal attack last November.
Conclusion:
So, there ya have it folks, that’s my summary of this past week in 3 sentence increments and under 450 words! This coming week, I’m excited to continue progressing with my web design business, reading The Business MBA (by Josh Kaufman), and starting the copywriting module.
